The tendency to do so is common in human nature. On forums such as these, many people complain about lots of things. Many of these complaints are not really well-considered or fair. So I when reading them, I often feel the urge to 'defend' Anet. So did qwe4rty, I suppose. I am sure Anet does not need defending, but that is just how my motivational system works. Something like that happens when you support a team and cheer when it wins a match and dislike it when others complain about the music/books/fims of your favorite singer/band/composer/author/director being crap This is true for many people. You may consider us 'lickers of behinds', but we cannot all be angry players with a deep-rooted dislike for all things Anet.

Maybe we are wrong to like this game, but many of us do. Sorry about that. If you feel that you are better then us by telling us that we are pathetic fanboys, so be it. Knock yourself out. No need to threaten me with the genuine trolling treatment, I do know what trolls are like.
Forums are about open expression on the provided topic. That's his opinion so just respect it, don't start an arguement. That is basically the problem with every forum, people always feel the need to critize. Not taking sides or saying you are wrong or anything, just telling it like it is.

Anyway, I agree with the qwerty even though he could of just posted this in the actual assasin thread lol. I don't see the problem that this would cause with an individuals role in a party. It is just the fact that people in this game are addicted to the two monk, 2-3 warrior, 2 ele parties. Granted they are able to succeed but doesn't mean that there aren't better combos that can be used. I am kinda tired and probably misinterpreted someones post up there so bear with me on this lol.

I agree to most of this thread, though some loop holes can always be found... like in the US Bill of Rights and such (Did you know that the 19th and 20th ammendments were never signed by Woodrow Willson? ).

As for the discussion of opinion, when attacking (making fun of, giving names, etc...) someone or their post you lose that right to voice an opinion. Since you are not really voicing a civilized opinion in any real manner and are just simply bashing someone's post. Heck you have the right to bear arms but you still don't have the right to shoot someone... boy bad analogy.

Some will enjoy it, some will hate it, some will praise it, some will trash it, and then some will go out after they're done and try to find a prostitute for some end-of-night fun (I know, it's ridiculous, like paying monthly for an online game!).

C'est la vie.

this is like making a thread saying bring back the Rifts... isn't trying to accomplish anything, but just wants to have a chat.

People are whining? I haven read the thread that thouroghly, but from what I garnered from the start that you have to admit that you'all will probably discuss every last freekin detail to the point that alot of people will be dissapointed when they finally get to play her.

I think the Assassin sounds pretty good, but bowing down and thanking Anet for is a little much. I can only hope she has some pretty frosty stealth skills.

How did this warrant another thread? If you already read the Assassin thread, you could have easily posted in there. Closed.
